Daddy's Little Girl

Emma saw this 2006 picture while Brad was at a meeting yesterday. She said, "I wish Daddy would jump out of this picture so I could kiss him!" And as you can imagine, Daddy is wrapped around her finger!

Happy Birth-Halloween-Day, Josh!

Happy Halloween Bunco!

This is my dear friend Rachel. There's so many things I want to write...but as they say, a picture's worth 1,000 words.

That's right, Williams Fam! We're practicing for the next all-family competition!

Later that evening...

A visit...
And ride?
From our old neighbors!

Truck or Treat

And while Mommy and Hannah are away...enjoying a quiet scrapbooking weekend with friends...Daddy, Emma and Josh are spending time with the local police and firefighters. All for the sake of CANDY!

My First Field Trip

Thanks to a DEAR friend who watched the other chillin', Emma and I were able to spend the morning together on her first field trip. We learned about pumpkins, squash, ate apples, enjoyed a hay ride and once we returned to school--apple cider donuts! (The bus trip was the BIG hit!)

Toys! (A Few of Our Favorite Things)

This is what happens when Mommy asks Josh to get Hannah a toy...
As you can see by her face, Emma loves Little People. I'm not sure Emma knew why I was taking her picture...but I was kind of having a "We Are The World" moment.
Thank you, Aunt Robyn. STILL a very big hit.

Pickin' Punkins

We enjoyed a wonderful fall afternoon together as a family at a local pumpkin and produce farm. Emma spent the majority of the time jumping in the large pumpking moonwalk and Josh was very happily taking in his surroundings.
Josh says, "Book, Book!" We're teaching him to say "La la la LOOK" but in Uncle Lance's footsteps, it sometimes comes out, "La la la BOOK!"

Dinner's On!

Thank you to all of the special people who braved the elements to make this a very memorable day!

It's a Birthday Celebration!

Happy Birthday, Bubba!
Josh (and Mom) are thrilled we don't have to beat Elmo to death in order to partake in some goodies!

A Little Later That Evening...

Josh and Emma make our company feel right at home by taking a walk in their shoes.
Busted! (And still loved.) Thanks to Bill and Linda for a wonderful evening! And an especially wonderful dessert from the city! Hope to see you again soon!

Johnny Appleseed Festival!

Crystal Lake also has it's own wonderful fall tradition! (Daddy's enthusiasm speaks for itself :) Emma was a pro on the pony and despite mommy's nervousness quite often insisted on riding the pony, holding on with only one hand.
Brad's countdown to lunch finally ended...Emma and Josh shared their roasted corn. And yes, Josh, did get bit by one of the turkeys in the cage behind him.
Daddy's happy after a delicious cider donut and sweet little pumpkin to carry around, too.

After Josh's last haircut, we stopped at a road side stand to pick up some fall decorations for the front of our home. Emma and Josh took a break on the swing.

Happy Fall, Y'all!

Brad's sister and family joined us for a wonderful afternoon in Huntley for a Fall Festival!
Josh has second thoughts about riding the tractor with big sister behind the wheel. Maybe it was her facial expression that made him a little nervous...
He did enjoy the bucking pony ride...no joke...but that's not how he busted his lip.
And finally, the walk INSIDE the petting zoo. Yup, had to throw away those cute little shoes Emma wore that day.
